Algorand


Algorand is a cryptocurrency and blockchain protocol that aims to be simultaneously scalable, secure, a d decentralized. It uses a consensus algorithm called pure proof-of-stake.


When you hold Algorand in a supported wallet/exchange you receive rewards. On coinbase this is an estimated about of 6 % this rate does vary depending on the wallet/exchange it is held.

I first found out a out Algorand when I received an invitation from coinbase to earn some free Algorand.


 I watched the three short clips and received 8.73 Algorand for each one. In total I received 26.19 Algo it was worth just £4.62 (£0.18 per coin) at the time of writing it is now worth £25.80 not bad for watching a few clips.

Since then I sold all my doge that I brought very cheaply and brought more Algorand. At the moment I receive 0.1339 (£0.12) every day in rewards.

 I a getting about £50 a year. It is not a huge about but, I originally paid just £10 for the doge I sold so I am not complaining.



I keep the majority of my Algorand on coinbase and receive around 6% in rewards.
I also keep some on the official Algorand Wallet.

I use Wirex for spending or cashing out my cypto
